First, chop up your fruits. I love to use frozen strawberries, frozen mangoes, and sometimes I add in some blueberries.

Then put one scoop of yogurt in your bowl, jar, glass cup. I prefer using a jar or a fancy glass so that I can see the beautiful stacking after I finish making it.

Then toss the fruits of your choice, and nuts on the yogurt. Now Repeat!

Simple as that. Do this until you fill up the jar. Then top it off with a drizzle of honey, or crushed up nuts. Voila, your yogurt parfait is ready to be served.

It’s that easy, now I know you probably have some questions. So here are some commonly asked questions when it comes to making a yogurt parfait.

Are yogurt parfaits healthy?

Yes they are! It really depends on how healthy you decide to make it in terms of the ingredients you use. Using a plain or Greek yogurt is recommended because most yogurts that have other things in it are already filled with sugar. I use Activia, IOGO, or Astro yogurt and all work great!

Yogurt is very nutritious and has many health benefits. It is a nutrient-dense food. ts gives you a great source of calcium, dairy protein, vitamin B-12, and many other good fatty acids. In addition, it is also a great source of probiotics.

Is it better to use frozen or fresh fruits?

Both frozen and fresh fruits are great options. I tend to use a mixture of both when making yogurt parfaits. I use frozen fruits more when I’m making this recipe for the go because it tends to keep the yogurt slightly chilled, which is nice.

Tip: If you use frozen fruits, thaw them out in microwave for 30 seconds. This helps the fruits to create a delicious syrup in the yogurt.

What is the best way to store yogurt parfaits?

Jars. Jars. Jars. I use mason jars, they are reusable and they have a cover. They are perfect for storing in the fridge and meal prepping.
