His will, His way, my Faith

Glimpse at sketchbook quote

His will, His way, my Faith. This phrase has been replaying in my head over the last week or so and it was not so long ago when I encountered this quote on Pinterest. I was shocked because it was almost as if God wanted me to see this exact phrase on my Pinterest feed that one morning.

Lately, my second year of university has been a bit rocky. This includes academics, co-op/internships, and school commitments, social life etc. Well what I’m saying is that it can all be overwhelming and stress levels are high. I’m pretty sure many students can relate.

This is my second year of university and I have been constantly thinking about what’s next! I’m always thinking about what the future holds for me and if I’m doing this/that right. “Am I taking the right courses”, “what do I wanna do for further education?”, “Is medical school for me?”, “will my blog grow to be what I want it to be?”, “will I ever be in the place to really use my love for public health to help others worldwide?, am I making enough friends” etc.

All the above are just constant questions that flow through my head and I overthink and overthink. Recently, I talked to my mom and she reminded me that I’m really not the one in control and that the journey I am on is not a one-man job. See this got me really thinking because of 2 things. 1. I like being in control. 2. I knew she was right. (Lol on a side note…my mom is very famous for getting people to think more).

Then I really sat back and dwelled on this truth. I knew this, at least I thought I knew it. But the problem was… did I really believe it?

Long story short I have been searching for myself and resonating with this true and simple verse.

“ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

I believe that this verse is powerful and that it puts us in the place of knowing that God has everything under control. He is there to help us journey through life.

The truth is God is there all the time and it’s important that we have faith and believe that He can do what we cannot do alone. God already has a path for us with a journey full of blessings He wants us to receive.

I know that this is an amazing truth and I am so glad that I have this platform here to share it all with you. I hope you all take the time to reflect on this verse for yourself. Really think about if you really BELIEVE it because when you take that step and truly believe that God is 100% on this journey with you it takes a huge load off your shoulders.

I am excited because I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me and I am ALL IN because if the Author and Creator of my life has a bigger plan for me then I could ever imagine, then I really can’t wait to see. There will be obstacles and struggles but remember God has everything under control when you feel out of control.

So that is it, friends, these are my thoughts on this verse and I hope it made a difference for you today. Remember all it takes is HIS WAY, HIS WILL, and YOUR FAITH!
